By now we're probably all sick of hearing about COVID, and all we want is for it just to disappear. Is there anything that we can do to accelerate that process? A campaign in which we invite our students to partake, and do their part in nipping this pandemic in the bud. A campaign in which, after learning about the different opportunities, and the when, where, and why we make our blessings, we will have students signing up to say 1,2,3,4,5, maybe more blessings a day. At this point you should have had the opportunity to check out the first two videos of our Bless-A-Ton Campaign. The first, introducing the campaign, and the second, a deeper understanding into the power of blessings. In our third video we'll be introduced to the Bless-A-Ton mascot, Brachos Barry, the Blessings Genie. As stated in the Bless-A-Ton introductory video, during the reign of King Davids there was a terrible plague, claiming the lives of 100 young Jewish people a day, and due to his implementing the obligation of reciting 100 blessings each day, it stopped! Its fascinating, that counting ones blessings has the ability to end plagues, but we have to ask ourselves, what is it about blessings that enables that ability? In this video we'll take a deeper dive into understanding what the root of disease may really be, our mission in this world, and how becoming more aware and counting our blessings, has the ability to form a connection, ridding the world of plague.

Bless-A-Ton Video #4, the Bracha of Shehakol, the "skeleton key" blessing, said on any food that doesn't fall into the fruits, vegetables, wine, bread, or grain category. Fish, meat, poultry, dairy products, candy, water, beverages, etc. Watch this video to learn about the Bracha, the proper way to say it, and some things we could think about each time we utter the words of Shehakol Nihyeh Bid'varo.
